Clerk to Governing Body
Scale 4: point 7-10, £1,135.02 - £1,187.34
Hours per week 1.75 – Term time only (38 weeks per year)
We are seeking a Clerk to the Governing Body to facilitate the running, recording and record keeping of the Governing Body. You will be responsible for organising and clerking the full suite of meetings held by the school’s governors over the academic year. You will support and advise the Chair of the Governing Body and chairs of the committees, whilst enabling all governors to access and undertake their responsibilities. The Clerk of the Governing Body works alongside the governors and senior leaders to ensure that the functions of governance are correctly discharged, recorded and stored.
Whilst there is a nominal ‘weekly allocation’ of hours, they will vary to meet the structure of meetings established over each school term. There is a need for some daytime working and some evenings.
