Our annual Primary ECT Recruitment selects the best prepared students for schools who are thinking of appointing an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

Applying to the Teaching Talent Pool
Many schools in the borough use our Primary Teaching Talent Pool to appoint staff.
Our Talent Pool is open to those currently training to teach, have completed their ITT training and need to complete the Early Career Framework (ECF).
The Pool is a quick and easy way to apply for roles in Hounslow schools with one application - keeping your options open and also ensuring that you find recruiting schools that suit you.
How does it work?
Once you have applied to the Talent Pool, your application will be considered by our Recruitment Team and shortlisted against the Job Description and Person Specification.
Your application constitutes an expression of interest in working in a school in Hounslow and you are able to select your preferred location(s), Key Stage, school type and role type.
As part of the shortlisting process, we will check your details including that of your TRN. For shortlisted candidates, we will also approach a reference in line with Safer Recruitment practice. For ITT students/ECTs this will be the academic reference of the institution where you trained to teach.
The details of shortlisted candidates are released to schools who will search for candidates for their vacancies based upon your location, role and key stage preferences. Schools will then contact candidates with details of their available posts and invite them for interview.
