Teachers' Pay Scales & Conditions

Maintained schools in the UK will pay schools staff according to the appropriate nationally-recognised pay scales. 

Hounslow is currently classified as an Outer London borough for the purposes of the pay scales.

Additional Responsibilities and Senior Leadership.

Teachers with additional responsibilities, such as Head of Department, Phase/KS Leader or Head of Year, are eligible for additional payment on top of their scale point. 

Your school will offer and determine how much the payment may be.

Teachers' Conditions

The conditions of your teaching role are determined by the STPCD School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document as set by the Department for Education.

The Teachers Pension Scheme is a generous pension scheme that all teachers will be enrolled into at the start of their career, unless you opt-out.
