Are you an organised, detail‑driven finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a school community? We are seeking a committed Finance Officer to join our friendly and proactive administration team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the effective financial management of our school and contributing to the success of our pupils.
About the Role
As Finance Officer, you will have day-to-day responsibility for the school’s financial administration, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately, securely, and in line with relevant legislation, financial regulations, and school policies. You will work closely with the Office Manager, Headteacher, and Governing Body to support sound financial decision-making and ensure best value for money.
You will be a proactive member of the administration team, contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of financial systems and procedures, and promoting high standards of financial probity and business ethos across the school.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys improving systems, and takes pride in maintaining meticulous financial records.
