Oaklands is an outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. We have a Primary school (New Oaks) and a Secondary school (High Oaks). We are based across two different sites with both our school buildings offering state of the art facilities for our students

We have a fantastic opportunity for a caretaker to join our friendly site team as part of a job share. This position is across both our Primary site based on Woodlands Road, and our Secondary site based on Gresham Road. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, security and maintenance of both school buildings as part of a team. Responsibilities will include ensuring maintenance of the plant, facilities and fabric of the school buildings and the grounds of both schools; Dealing with helpdesk tickets and promoting Health and Safety to staff, students and visitors at all times. You must have GCSEs (or equivalent) in both English and Maths.

Pay Scale: Hounslow Pay Scale 6 (point 16 – 20)

Actual Salary: £20,189 - £21,416 (3 Days) / £13,460 - £14,278 (2 Days)

Contract Type: Part time and permanent. All year round. Job share, either 2 or 3 day contract.

Hours of work: 21.75 hours (3 days) per week / 14.5 hours (2 days) per week
 Working hours to be discussed

The successful candidate will need to attend a pre-employment induction
